Penn’s Landing Redevelopment (Updated)
Tonight [Tuesday Oct. 15th], the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation [DRWC] will present plans detailing the next phase of the Penn’s Landing redevelopment. The design team, led by Hargreaves Associates, is creating plans which incorporate “landscape architecture, urban design, engineering, programming, development & cost estimates.” Future steps will be discussed & presented at this evening’s meeting. The DRWC recently shared full details on Monday’s public meeting / presentation. On their website, you can find PDF version of the Penn’s Landing Redevelopment plan (courtesy of Hargreaves Associates, head designer), along with full video of the
presentation & several mock-up photos portraying the updated site. Highly recommend having a look ! If this all comes to pass, the Columbus Blvd area will undergo a complete makeover.
