TIS’ THE SEASON for festive activities and events in Philadelphia! There are plenty of them coming up in and around the area to help get you and your family into the holiday spirit! Franklin Square’s holiday celebration: November 25 – January 2 Meet Santa, enjoy holiday music, make holiday ornament crafts, and try a candy cane shake at the SquareBurger.
Santa Days at the Philadelphia Zoo: December 10-11 and December 17-18 9:30am-4pm Join Santa to celebrate the holiday season with all the animals! Click the link above for the daily schedules of activities.
Philadelphia’s Holiday Pops concert: December 9th-22nd Join two time Grammy Award winning pianist Peter Nero and the Philly Pops for their annual holiday concert at the Kimmel Center
Santa on Ice in Manayunk: Saturday, December 10th from 11am-2pm Watch a world-class ice sculptor carve a throne of ice for Santa Claus and sit and pose for photos with him!
City Hall Tree Lighting: December 8th at 5pm The annual ceremony which usually takes place at Dilworth Plaza will occur across the street at Love Park due to renovations. The Christmas Village in Philadelphia is also located in Love Park this year due to the renovations.
