What really makes everything work and keeps this neighborhood thriving is its resources.  The E. Passyunk Business Improvement

District has probably one the best websites to give visitors great information with a user friendly feel.  Every business in this neighborhood is categorized and index for easy search and the events calender is constantly up-to-date which makes planning adventures easy and convenient.

Another online resource that provides a wealth of information is the Passyunk Post.  You know those local newspapers that get thrown at your doorstep that you never open and just kick to the side when you exit your home?  Well the folks a the Passyunk Post were clever enough to take that same neighborhood news and publish it online.  Everything from upcoming businesses, tips on keeping the neighborhood clean as well as important events are all found here.

Taking everything into consideration, it’s no wonder that this section of the city has become red hot.  So whether you’re looking to open a business or live and play in this area, you can’t go wrong with E. Passyunk.

Palladino’s – One of the newer spots on the scene but has been making waves.  Receiving 3 bells from Philly.com food critic Craig LaBan, Palladino’s has quickly asserted itself as one of Philadelphia’s premier restaurant.  It would definitely be worth a trip here to experience what the hype is about.

Le Virtu – Intimate, rustic and charming are just a few words to describe this E. Passyunk staple.  This place is authentic as it comes with ingredients imported from Italy as well a seasonal menu and awesome wine list.  If you’re looking for great Italian this is a perfect option.

P.O.P.E – If you’re looking for something a little more laid back, then Pub on Passyunk E. is one of your best option.  With a classic Philly dive bar feel, this place is no frills but delivers with some of the best bar food in town as well as a great beer selection.

Chaaya Cafe – This is the quintessential neighborhood cafe with a new age process. Serving organic coffee along with an array of tasty food options.  This spot is definitely a favorite among locals and once you patronize Chaaya Cafe, you’ll see why.

Cantina Los Caballitos– If Mexican is your food of choice than you won’t be disappointed here.  A hot spot in E. Passyunk with its spacious indoor and outdoor seating, Cantina Los Caballitos should be on everyone’s short list of restaurants to check out in this neighborhood.

Laurel-Looking for a fantastic BYOB? Well Laurel is one of the best in town. This cozy restaurant serves up amazing French/American cuisine.  Bring a bottle of your favorite spirit and you have a recipe for a perfect date.

Triangle Tavern– Not a dive bar and not upscale but right in the middle where it’s the perfect casual bar to grab a drink with friends and enjoy great good to go along with a great ambiance. This is essentially the all-around perfect watering hole.
