1. The economy is still growing, albeit slowly.
2. The private sector is, in fact beginning to create some jobs.
3. Consumer confidence is still low.
4. 30-year mortgage rates are at all time lows, nearly 4 %!
5. The national median-home price is nearly or is almost stabilized.
6. Other home-price measurements are showing signs of price stabilization.
7. Home price-to-income ratios have returned to justifiable levels.
8. Economists expect prices to increase in upcoming years.
9. Delinquencies are high but recent loan originations are performing well.
10. Long-term path to self reliance may be helped from long-term housing-wealth gains.
